Working on the Farm
On Garden Days we will be active on the community farm. These include any event that is associated with the farm, such as
- Work Days
- events
- art opening
- Plants education
- Paper making and dye Workshops
- BBQ
The latest information will be listed on the right side panel and on the calendar below. We are currently working out a watering schedule and programing workshops
Will there be garden days the first weekend of July? When will the next garden days happen? I’m so interested in coming!
We will be there This weekend! July 11th from 11a - 2p painting signs, clearing beds and harvesting! Come join in and take away fresh herbs and veggies with you!
I am your neighbor and a native southerner, and I dearly miss spending time working in the vegetable garden! Only problem is, Tuesdays and Thursdays are really busy for me. Do you ever have people come by and weed on days that don’t start with “T”? Or will there be more non-Tues/Thurs toward the end of the season to help with harvest/getting the garden ready for winter? Also, do you compost at your space, and could I contribute to that?
Are you guys all done for the winter or will there be any wintertime volunteer opportunities?
